Yoga for Studios, Workplaces & Community Spaces

Root + Return offers yoga in partnership with yoga studios, wellness spaces, workplaces, and community organizations.

The classes and workshops listed here are a starting point — a curated offering that reflects the heart of my work. Many classes can be adapted, expanded, or created specifically for your space, community, or intention.

Rather than hosting classes in my own studio, I bring these offerings into spaces that already serve people, creating accessible, grounded experiences wherever they are most needed.

If you’re interested in hosting a class, workshop, or series — or imagining something custom together — I’d love to collaborate.

Yoga Class

Yoga is for Humans

This is for you if you have a body.

You do not need experience, flexibility, special clothes, strength, balance, calmness, or a single clue what you’re doing. You just need to be willing to show up exactly as you are.

This is a gentle, welcoming introduction to yoga designed for real humans living real lives.

This offering may be experienced as a single class or a workshop series and is open to all bodies and all levels of experience.

The Returning Practice

This is an invitation to journey back to yourself.

To slow down, listen inward, and return to what matters most.

To open the heart  to compassion, connection, and emotional presence.

To honor your energy, set boundaries, and sustain yourself in everyday life.

This is a practice of remembering, restoring, and returning — just as you are.

This offering may be experienced as a single class or a workshop series and is open to all bodies and all levels of experience.

Igniting Joy

Igniting Joy is an embodied practice of remembering joy as something that already lives within you. Joy is a natural capacity—not something to force, earn, or perform.

Through intentional movement, breath, and reflection, this class invites you to reconnect with moments of ease, pleasure, and aliveness already present in your body.

Joy is explored as a radical act in a culture that glorifies exhaustion and productivity.

This offering may be experienced as a single class or a workshop series and is open to all bodies and all levels of experience.

Rest as Resistance

This offering is inspired by the work of The Nap Ministry, which teaches that rest is not laziness, but a necessary and liberatory act in a culture built on exhaustion and extraction.

This is an invitation to slow down, soften the nervous system, and disrupt the pressure to constantly produce.

Through gentle movement, supported stillness, breath, and reflection, Rest as Resistance creates space to reclaim rest as a human right — a practice of care, healing, and embodied liberation.

This offering may be experienced as a single class or a workshop series and is open to all bodies and all levels of experience.

Yoga Outside

Yoga did not begin within four walls. This offering re-situates practice where it has always belonged—outside, in relationship with land, weather, sound, and season.

Practicing outdoors invites a different kind of listening. The ground may be uneven. The breeze may interrupt. Birds, traffic, sunlight, and soil all become part of the practice. With minimal props and natural surfaces, students are guided toward adaptability, humility, and embodied awareness—meeting the moment as it is, rather than controlling it.

This offering may be experienced as a single class or a workshop series and is open to all bodies and all levels of experience.
